This policy explains how Kardix handles local credential generation, technical website data, browser storage, consent, and advertising.

Last updated June 12, 2026

1. Controller

The controller for this website is Savvas Katsikas, Maotaw, Germany. Contact: maotaw17@gmail.com. Complete provider details are available in the 法律声明.

2. Local credential generation

Passphrases, PINs, labels, generated usernames, and generated passwords are designed to be processed locally in your browser. Kardix does not intentionally transmit these secret input values to a Kardix account or store them in an online credential database. You should still use a trusted device and browser because malware, browser extensions, keyloggers, screenshots, or physical access can expose locally processed information.

3. Hosting and server logs

When you open the website, the hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information required to deliver and protect the service. This may include the IP address, requested page, date and time, referrer, browser and operating-system information, response status, and security-related events. These records may be retained for a limited period for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and reliable operation.

4. Browser storage

Kardix may use local storage or similar browser features to remember non-secret settings such as the selected language or interface preferences. Secret generator inputs and generated credentials are not intended to be saved there. You can remove locally stored preferences through your browser settings.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

Content pages may use Google AdSense, a service provided by Google. Google and participating advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, IP addresses, web beacons, and similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize, measure, and protect advertising. They may also process information about the page visited, browser or device, approximate location, ad interactions, and consent choices.

Google may use information from this website in accordance with its own privacy and advertising policies. You can learn more through Google’s pages titled “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” and “Ads Settings.”

6. Consent in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Where consent is legally required, non-essential advertising technologies should not be activated until you have made a choice through a Google-certified consent management platform. The consent interface should allow you to accept, reject, or manage relevant purposes and vendors. You may withdraw or change a consent decision later through the consent settings made available on the website.

Important: Browser privacy settings, ad blockers, and Google account settings may provide additional controls, but they do not replace the website’s consent mechanism where one is legally required.

7. Legal bases

Depending on the processing activity, the legal basis may be the performance of the requested website service, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, or your consent for optional advertising and similar technologies. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it with effect for the future.

8. Recipients and international transfers

Technical data may be processed by hosting, content-delivery, security, and advertising providers acting as processors or independent controllers. Some providers, including Google, may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers should be protected through an adequacy decision, appropriate contractual safeguards, or another legally recognized transfer mechanism.

9. Retention

Secret generator inputs are not intentionally retained by Kardix. Browser preferences remain until you clear them or the website replaces them. Server and security logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose. Advertising providers determine retention periods for data they process under their own policies and consent settings.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. To make a request concerning data controlled by Kardix, email maotaw17@gmail.com.

11. No automated account decisions

Kardix does not operate user accounts and does not use secret generator inputs to make automated decisions about you. Advertising providers may perform automated selection or personalization according to your consent and their own policies.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, hosting, consent system, advertising configuration, or applicable law changes. The date above identifies the current version.
