How it works

Send files without internet.

Maotaw Drop is made for local nearby sharing. Phones can connect directly when they are close. When possible, nearby devices can also help relay the connection to extend the range, so files can travel further without using a cloud server.

Offline nearby

Share files phone-to-phone without mobile data, Wi-Fi internet, or cloud upload.

Relay when possible

With permission, nearby devices can help pass data forward to improve range in crowded places.

No cloud server

Files are chosen by the sender and accepted by the receiver. They are not uploaded to Maotaw servers.
