Kardix is an independent Maotaw project exploring a simple idea: recreate strong login details locally without opening an account or placing every credential in a cloud vault.

People often reuse weak passwords because managing many unique credentials feels difficult. Password managers solve this well for many users, but some people prefer a smaller, account-free tool that works directly in the browser. Kardix offers that alternative while openly explaining its trade-offs.

Articles are written for this website rather than copied from vendor marketing. Technical claims are reviewed against the implementation and revised when the generator model changes. We distinguish documented behavior from general security advice, avoid promises of absolute safety, and publish limitations prominently.
Unabhängigkeit und Monetarisierung
Kardix may display clearly labelled advertising on informational pages. Advertising does not change generator outputs and does not buy favorable editorial coverage. Future affiliate links, if introduced, will be disclosed near the link. Secret inputs should never be used for ad personalization.
Was Kardix nicht ist
Kardix is not a bank, identity provider, recovery service, password vault, or substitute for passkeys and multi-factor authentication. It cannot restore forgotten inputs and cannot protect a compromised device.
